Janis Britt at Rancho Santa Fe Farms Golf Club

Rancho Santa Fe Farms Golf Club has been open for 12 years and is considered one of San Diego's premier golf courses. The staff at the club is very proud of the upgrades that have recently been made to the course itself, totaling about 7 million dollars. This includes improvements to the cart paths as well as the landscape and greens. For this project The Farms utilized the talents of design architects Tom Lehman and John Fought. The much desired membership to this club is by invitation only.

Janis joined the staff at The Farms as their new controller back in October of 2000. Janis said, "I really enjoy my job here at The Farms. I find it very rewarding!" She is originally from Virginia and moved to San Diego in 1987, where she completed her MBA (with an emphasis on IS design- she's one of us!). Janis is married and spends all of her free time with her two children ages 3 and 5 years old. She and her husband love taking their children places and watching them laugh. She also enjoys tennis and plans on playing again when her children are ready to learn.

Janis also has some history with Brentech. She was previously employed by a company here in San Diego who has a continuing computer maintenance contract with us. When she began working at Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club, she immediately recognized their need for increased efficiency in their computer system. Having received reliable, professional service in the past, she immediately called Brentech and we are now in the process of improving their computing and processing requirements with a maintenance contract as well.
